Well folks, we’ve made it! It’s Friday and that means it’s time for a little R&R. It also means that it’s time for my Week In Review column found exclusively on my website.

Each week, I’ll have a simple five bullet list of news stories and current events covered this week. Think of this as an NFL highlight reel of sorts only for politics and culture. Short, sweet, and concise.

  • Donald Trump causes more controversy over remarks that Carly Fiorina is “ugly” in Rolling Stone.
  • Islamic high school student builds a clock mistaken for a bomb and ends up getting invited to the White House.
  • Internet sensation CJ Pearson records another viral video in response to Obama inviting Islamic student to the White House.
  • The second Republican primary debate is broadcast on CNN. Although initial polls indicate another victory for Trump, multiple political pundits agree that Carly Fiorina was the actual winner.
  • Disney and Lucasfilm announce that the theatrical versions of the original Star Wars trilogy will finally be released on Blu-Ray this holiday season.

Have a great weekend everyone!
