About Nandini

I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California and am the proud daughter of Fiji-Indian immigrants. I went to California State University East Bay and have worked for two amazing CAPAC members. The first being Congressman Ro Khanna and now Congressman TJ Cox. I have worked as a casework, district representative, scheduler and legislative assistant and have loved every minute!

What inspired you to get involved in public service?

In high school, I was told to be a “voice for the voiceless” as I grew in life. That sentiment has always stayed with me and shaped the way I approach life.

Name one person you look up to and explain why.

Currently, Congressman TJ Cox, he has truly shown me what it means to represent and serve those who elected you.

What is one hope that you have for the future? Or what is one piece of advice that you would like to share?
