Let’s Kill “Fake It Til You Make It”
Because it’s fraud.
I took one year of architecture school. “Fake it til you make it” was a big theme. I didn’t know much, and was constantly looking for guidance. I was encouraged to just…kinda make stuff up as I went along. After all, this was a tough industry. If I wanted to get ahead, I had to be confident.
