Black Love: A Castle of our Skins Residency

While working on a project with ALJP Consulting I was introduced to this wonderful arts company called Castle of our Skins based in Boston, MA. The mission of the company is as follows.

Castle of our Skins is a Black arts institution dedicated to fostering cultural curiosity and celebrating Black artistry through music. In classrooms, concert halls, and beyond, Castle of our Skins invites Black heritage and culture exploration, spotlighting both unsung and celebrated figures of past and present.

I very much look forward to visiting this venue one day to soak in the culture that is literally calling me from its website and social media such as in the video below.

Through multimedia, spoken word, movement, and music, Black Love explores themes of self-care, healing, and love. Please set some time aside and watch the performances below and make sure you visit their Youtube page and store.
