Every Detour Is the Universe’s Way of Protecting You
You didn’t mess up.
You didn’t miss your chance. You didn’t get left behind.
That thing you wanted so badly, the job that slipped away, the relationship that didn’t last, the dream that crumbled when you were just starting to believe in it, it wasn’t rejection.
It was redirection.
Because every detour is the Universe stepping in with a message:
“Not this. I have something better. Just wait.”
That thing that didn’t work out?
It saved you.
Maybe not in the way that makes sense right now. Not in a way you can prove or explain to anyone else.
But someday, two months, five years from now, you’ll look back and think:
“Oh. I get it now.”
I remember being crushed when my relationship ended. I was sure he was “the one.” I cried every day, replayed every conversation, begged the sky to rewind time.
But now, I see it clearly:
Those endings weren’t failures. They were closures. Not because I didn’t deserve those things, but because those things didn’t deserve all of me.
