Myths and Truths about a self-proclaimed miraculous drink
In the last years, there´s been a hype about the health benefits of drinking lemon water every morning. From weight loss miracles to alkalizing superpowers, but, sadly most of them lack scientific evidence.
If you check the Instagram profile of any wellness guru, they may be saying: “Drink lemon water! It´s healthy for you!”
Of course, drinking water is healthy, and adding it a fruit juice packed with vitamins and minerals has nothing but a positive impact on your overall health. But miracles? Don´t expect miracles from drinking lemon water on an empty stomach.
