For the Person Who Feels Beat Up by Life
Sometimes the best thing you can do is let go
When nothing makes sense, just allow the state of confusion.
Let it all go. Lay it all down. Let everything in you just surrender.
I know it’s hard.
It feels foreign.
Something in you is telling you to fight, to try harder, to explain it one more time, to say it in a different way.
Maybe you just need to show them, prove yourself, make them see.
But no matter what you do or say, and no matter how many different times you ask why, the whole situation continues to be a murky mess.
A pond of muck so thick and so heavy that it threatens to engulf you anytime you get near it.
So, let it be nonsensical.
Let it be crazy.
Let it be not understandable.
Because sometimes, things aren’t. They just don’t make sense.
And no matter how much you wish they did, they don’t—and they probably never will.
So give yourself a rest.
Give up the striving, the trying, the decoding, the analyzing, the thinking.
