How To Break Free Of Your Limitations Like an Olympic Athlete
Have you been watching the Olympics? Or, perhaps a better question: Have you been studying these athletes?
I’ve become fascinated—dare I say obsessed—with the Olympics. But it’s not for the reasons you might think. Watching the Olympics—specifically Simone Biles—has ignited a fire in me that was already burning but softly. Now that fire is raging, here are five things I will be doing over the course of 12 weeks to improve my athletic performance.
Taking Action on Personal Limitations
Don’t get me wrong, as a woman over 45, wife, and mother of two young children, I will not be signing up to take Simone Biles’s gymnastics title anytime soon (maybe in another life).
However, as I watched her victories during my daily runs and yoga sessions, I began to ask myself, “How could I break free of my limitations like an Olympic champion?” After several runs, this question sat like a bloated splinter in my mind, and I realized I needed to upgrade my life — NOW.
