Mr. takes care of everyone, Mr. family man, Mr. loves all kinds of animals, Mr. does not go to the club or flirt with other girls, Mr. always thinking about what’s best for others, Mr. always respects your opinion, Mr. always tells you wherever he is to make sure you don’t worry, Mr. serenade you with acoustic songs every night if you want.

Ladies, does that sound like your dream companion?

For some, yeah. But for many, he’s too boring.

At least, that’s what he told me.

This friend of mine has been in the online dating field for almost a year now. He’s been on a few dates with the girls he met online, but none turned from flirtation texters on an application into a long-term relationship.

He’s also the type of guy who would tell us all the weird things that happened on his dates. Trust me, it’s weird.

A few stories about his pursuit of the perfect girl later, I let the curious part of me into the driver’s seat and downloaded Tinder for the first time.

Tl;dr — it was horrible.
