I´ve always had trouble falling asleep. And not being able to do it fast and easy can be both frustrating and exhausting. I can assure you that I tried every single tip out there: changing pillows, changing sleeping positions, reading boring books, switching off the phone one hour before bedtime… All of it with high hopes to make me sleepy. But, nothing seemed to work.

It sounds familiar to you as well? Maybe you´re dealing with anxiety night after night, you´re relying on sleeping pills or you´re just not getting enough hours of rest. Then, this breathing trick is of your interest.

The first night I followed the 4–7–8 technique I fell asleep in less than 2 minutes, slept through the whole night, and woke up rested and full of energy to start my day. What surprised me the most was that it felt utterly simple, was extremely relaxing, and needed no effort and of course, no medical prescription was required.

I´ve been practicing this breathing trick for almost a year now and I can assure you that you manage to perfect it over time and feel its calming effects. It just keeps getting better!

What is 4–7–8?
