A recession is defined as ‘a significant, widespread, and prolonged downturn in economic activity.’ The problem is, in times like these, many people let their mindset slip away, too.

They fall into a recession mentality. They start to say things like, “I can't make more money because we're in a recession.” Or, “My life would be different if it weren’t for the recession.”

Although, this is playing victim to your circumstances. You’re never defined by what’s happening around you but by the subsequent mindsets and actions you take.

Hence, Tony Robbins has said,

“If you want real freedom in your life, you must make a decision to stop allowing external events to shape your reality.”

Indeed, when there is uncertainty in the world, you must find certainty in yourself. You must develop a recession proof mindset and rise above your external circumstances.
