In 2017, BloomMe released its spa management software BloomMe Pro to the Hong Kong market. The software combines complete time slot management for beauty spas with advanced CRM functionality and a real-time connection with the BloomMe booking apps as a fully automated sales channel. This has generated unprecedented booking convenience for our customers and is unleashing new insights into the behaviour of our merchants’ customers.

We host formal and informal customer and employee events from time to time. This includes the “BloomMe Girls Night Out” series of customer pampering events as well as our annual Christmas party and ad hoc events to celebrate significant milestones such as product launches or investment rounds.

The asian beauty booking market is clustered and mobile solutions are in their infancy across most markets. In fact, most spas still use pen and paper to manage their bookings, which prohibits off-business-hour bookings and binds employee time. One of our post have 150k reach on facebook. we broke the record of online marking for financial app in Hong Kong, this is a great achievement for our whole team

Odoo’s people are constantly in contact with different industries and different kind of people. On a daily basis you we deal with issues from CEO’s, Sales managers, accountant, Warehouse manager etc.

People have to continuously challenge themselves to be up to date with the software and make sure they are able to solve the customers pain points with Odoo apps by offering great tools to help companies grow and improve their business operations.

Odoo is growing a lot (94 % growth in 2017) and will continue to do so. We are planning to double the team in Hong Kong and recruit 1000 employees internationally.

What was the last big achievement that was celebrated?

Our first product Wordle won the Best of BabyTech Awards at the CES conference in Las Vegas in January 2018. We have also just graduated from the worlds largest hardware accelerator called HAX in Shenzhen, received investment from Johnson & Johnson and manufactured our first working prototype!

Yes! We love good food and outdoor activities, like hiking in San Kung or road trips when we move to the US.

What continuing learning opportunities do you have for your employees?

As a small, agile team, we give each of our employees a lot of autonomy and oversight over their areas of expertise and give them the chance to grow this area in our Team. This involves going beyond execution and being involved in the company’s operations, strategic planning and networking with mentors and fellow entrepreneurs. We are also constantly looking to leverage various startup support schemes, including grants, acceleration programs and free resources so that we can invest in each of our employee’s personal and professional growth.

We coordinated across 3 offices to meet a tight client deadline for feature deployment. On the ground in HK, by putting our heads together, we were able to over-deliver and wow the client! We built the feature in less time it took them to confirm the plan!
