Team members are able to enrol in any of our part-time courses for free a. We have weekly team meetings where we share information across teams and problem solve issues together.

  • Fun people who enjoy a good laugh, those have great sportsmanship and work well in a team-setting.
  • People who are excited to work for a mature startup (we have been profitable since 2011!), we are very fast-paced and have vigorous plans for further growth in 2018 & 2019!

What was the last big achievement that was celebrated?

  • We developed 3 product and expanding our service offerings.
  • Our crew grew beyond 30 members in HK and nearly 10 in India!

ofo is where we are today because we hire people who are more determined than others, to make a difference. We recently asked our team members about the traits each member must have and identified the following 5 top traits.

  • Motivation — Believe in ofo and its Mission, totally prepared to hit the ground running and learn as they go.
  • Hunger — Craving for more responsibility, willing to sacrifice

What was the last big achievement that was celebrated?

If you didn’t know already know, we ended 2017 with the successful expansion into Hong Kong in December! (More than 250 cities were launched across the globe)

Not many people know that we disrupted without having a single member onboard in Hong Kong! In the last couple of months we have hired our first market expansion team and are now looking for the first 10- 15 members to make it happen all across the various districts.

Does the company host social outings or events for employees?

We work smart and play hard! We regularly organize a variety of company meals and social outings for our employees to not only get to know people from other departments, introduce new members, but to also, bond with one another outside of their busy schedules. The most recent team bonding meal we had was to celebrate Christmas and to welcome the New Year.

What continuing learning opportunities do you have for your employees?

Yes, plenty! We prefer to look from within to help our talents develop by providing the best platform for on-the-job training. To develop the potential in everyone, we provide cross-functional sharing sessions; you can even learn how to fix a bicycle! Training roadmaps are in development to support continuous learning throughout their ride with ofo.

What excites you about your company’s future?

We have just started expansion in multiple markets across the region. We are all definitely excited to pivot across early stage growth to the next stage, while driving change in the world’s transportation culture with our long term goal of supporting sustainability.
