Not surprised, since I’ve found a definite use case for both a laptop/desktop and a tablet; when working on research and the like, I use one for reading and one for writing/coding/working… I’ve owned a convertible device, though admittedly an early model (HP Touchsmart TX2 circa 2009, to be precise), and switching modes always seemed to break flow, so I rarely did it. Even if I had a Surface Book or the like, I don’t know that I would use it as a tablet all that often, and I would definitely still need a tablet, as well.
I’m curious if other people use their devices similarly to the way I use mine…?
