How do you succeed as a runner?

The answer can be summed up in one word: RUN!

But, as we all know there is much more that goes into being a successful runner.

Such as: specific training, running habits, nutrition, mental training, motivation, and the list goes on and on.

One of the great parts about running is that you can simply run, or you can dissect your training to the smallest degree.

Succeeding as a runner means something different to everyone, but the one commonality that every runner carries inside of them is reaching running goals. Whether a runner admits it or not, they have running goals.

Some runners like to say they have no goals, they are goal free. The truth is that to run we need to have at least one goal, the goal to run.

So, how do you succeed as a runner?

Set goals.

They can be as simple as running one day a week, to setting personal bests in races or winning them.

What are your running goals?

Please share one in the comments below.
