Introducing Hate Club

Hate Club are a new band from Albany, New York. They describe their band as a tweemo. I don’t know if such term really exists, but I want to believe it. The real reason is because Quarterbacks exist.
The debut EP No, Seriously are good. I like what I hear. I like the vocal of Audrey Goodemote who got the sense of Frankie Cosmos and Girlpool voice melts together with lazy yet emotive Noah Bondy while the wall of noise is lurking on their back. To me, it’s more sense to say that they wear heart-on-sleeves of Tigers Jaw. Anyway, don’t give a shit about what say, just listen for yourself, alright.
However, I dig really hard ‘Passive//Agressive’. The lyrics are pretty direct and personal. I’d like to relate it to my relationship and life where I mask up feelings of anger and end up very destructive. “In the Shadow of Two Gunmen (Pt. 1)” is also worth to listen to.
