Pale Lungs Will Burn and Melt Your Heart

Pale Lungs are a new emotive indie punk hailing from Tennessee. I caught this band because of their sound which should be in line with the latest album of The Pianos Become The Teeth, Sorority Noise, and Brand New.

Their debut Strawberry EP shows the band deep emotional, restrained and ambience sound to make our heart slowly burns. Lyric wise, they touched poignant times during growing up. “And I don’t know who I am or where I should go. I don’t know,” sings the band on ‘Roam’.

We don’t hear a lot of bands from Tennessee lately, but Pale Lungs can be my second best favorite after Secret Stuff in this genre.
