Fatrace

My pop-punk pals from Bekasi, Fatrace has been riding pretty nice life in 2017. First, they got new sweet EP under Geekmonger Records and gonna assume it’s already sold out. Then, talking about shows, they went from the cramped bar to fancy mall and killed it at national TV. And now, just listen to the new song, ‘Choaya’. It’s still about the hallyu nerd and cute Korean girl. Along with the new song, Fatrace also unveiled a mini box-set for this release. It includes the woodcut art, copy of handwriting lyrics, and patch. Wait what? Holy Jesus, Fatrace goes punker and finally i can see why they’re so proud to put punk after the band name for the Bandcamp url. Because I remember people who are into the woodcut and patch, they are Marjinal and Seringai. But I’m just worried they are probably getting too rad to be friends with me anymore.

Senn

Imagine Saturday Night Karaoke with more gritty vocal, comfortable bouncy, and whoa oh oh gang vocals, plus dealing with jobless cat lover. If that is your things, go digging.

Teen Agers

How the fuck I didn’t hear about this new stuff from Teen Agers? God, why does Orlando and fest-core bands always make me feeling like ‘I’m a failure at being an adult’, growing a heavy beard, wearing flannel and getting the six-pack of beers for no reason?

Potato Rocket

Potato Rocket seem like bunch of nice dudes who just realized how fucked being a grown ass adult. No wonder they swear a lot on this album, just like me on this stupid ass blog. So fuck today and fuck tomorrow too!

Antonia & The Lazy Susans

Rizkan shared this bandcamp url via Facebook message and said it’s fucking great. Later I found out he got it from Alfan, so it’s all making sense now. Well, the point is, the band has been approved by the experts, you should check it out.

Audio Gangbang

If you support humble local rock band that doesn’t suck, better check this compilation out which features Softcrime, Sumar, Knowhere, The Rang-Rangs, Tarkkam and two other new bands for me. It’s released by Jeruk Records and hoping they also can promise me 1TB gangbang collections if come to their showcase at Borneo Beerhouse this Friday. Fair enough?

Laureate
I recently discovered this band from Samantha Barretts album of the year list. She got The Menzingers and Tigers Jaw topping the list, so you can guess what are we gonna listen to.
