Bunch of creeps we love

Tiny Moving Parts

The combination of blink 182 and third wave post-hardcore and midwest punk could come off the worst album ever made. But it’s a lot better than I expected when I listen to Tiny Moving Parts’s Celebrate as it really stands out. Swell tastes the same and all I can see is like Dillinger Four for millennial generation which is rowdy, angsty and catchy and sometimes goofy.

Since their debut LP in 2013 on Kind of Like Records, clearly, these dudes aren’t much interested in doing soft and beautiful twinkling emo brand and all. But you know, if you request American Football and the song with a fucking trumpet, they got you for this time. Even though they are not really amped with American Football and all they know just Never Meant, it’s the hype that we’re interested in. Pretty much same like me.

Awakebutstillinbed

First off, how about considering to hit a goddamn space for once? Maybe they already use too many spaces for the album title. Nevermind. It’s the band that genuinely worth getting excited about this year. Especially fans of Dahlia Seed, Football Etc, PS. Elliot, Mineral and Hop Along. The band is a great addition for San Jose cannon, after all we’re kinda bored to mention the same guy who runs Hard Girls, Shinobu, and Pteradon as the staple figure in the scene. Oh wait. I forgot about Leer.

The Wonder Years

Hey Soupy, if this album doesn’t sound better than The Greatest Generation, you should never get cheesesteak and zitner’s and support Eagles ever again, how about that? And stop saying yes to guys at Hopeless Records, we don’t need an acoustic album. Fuck that, you’re not Sabrina.

Dark Thoughts

My favourite ramonescore queers punk from Philly! Enjoy them or I don’t wanna be your friend anymore. I mean it.

Cubfires

Someone randomly sent me an email about this band and I check that thing because I like the fact there is a band named Cubfires. But wait, it’s not some rando who shot me an email. It’s Rizkan. The handsomest guy I’ve ever met. He informed me that the band is Avinnala musical project that used to be called Peruvian Necktie but now he changed the name which sounds like more promising for the SEO enhancement. Because everytime I look for peruvian necktie on Bill Gates’s Google, it always shows up a guy who looked like enjoy to suck his sparing partner crotch or forced to like it. Anyway, the debut EP is coming soon. I don’t know how soon but yeah, I’m gonna love it.

San-EI and Shorthand Phonetics split.

Recording wise, I enjoy more this casual split than getting sucked into bunch of crappy music recorded at Audiotree. For starter, it’s less taking time and internet data. Second, they don’t give a fuck about anything including quality and trying hard to look cool which I respect. They’re like “okay we just wrote a cool song, and fuck the world I’m gonna put this on bandcamp”. I think that’s the album cover all about, if not saying “here’s Johnny”.

Shorthand Phonetics pulls a guitar and smart cellular phone featuring the sister then completely just having fun and goes hilarious and wrong in the end. Dang, they are such a dork and I love it, especially that Buddy Holly hiccup part. Next, San-Ei which I thought already transformed into Ache is still the emotional outlet for Rizkan, an orgcore punker from Tangsel who has more heart than a pair of docmarts, telling about ancient meditative exercises that being used by Dutch weirdo called The Iceman who loves to hang out naked with polar bear. I think maybe Rizkan has been exercising that for some time. Because I’ve ever seen him almost getting naked and showing around his wiener at one show, luckily he wore an underwear that night and just realized he was in South Jakarta not South Pole. Sorry to tell that story. Because honestly, I can’t catch what they’re singing about. Fucking weird review isn’t it? But guess I’m still the biggest weirdo and loser right here.

McCafferty

This band. The band that would be a favourite band for my little sister and brother. It’s whole better thing than making them into artists headlining We The Fuck-Fest. And new sophomore album is gonna be out under everyone emo label favourite, Triple Crown Records. Listen to this band and showing off to your friends before everyone (not everyone but rich spoiled brats) starts wearing their t-shirts as the favourite one.

Runaway Brother

Ohio band, Runaway Brother got the vibes that I like. Death Cab For Cutie and The Early November vibes. OK, I’ll add them to the-feels-good-emo-indie-rock-bands folder, that also includes Same, Oso Oso, and Weller. Yeah. check them out.

Are we good here? Cool, I know you probably hate me.
