This is one of the best because so many reasons; some of them include art treasures, trendy fashion, stunning landscape, passionate people and great cuisine.

Italy has a lot to offer as a county and is one of the best destinations you could see in a lifetime.

No1. Rome

At the first stop we have Rome, a top destination preferred by many travelers who come from all around the world just to see the city.

It is a fact that Rome wasn’t built in a day, and just like the construction you need more than one day to visit the timeless city.

With great landscapes, open-air markets, great historic sites and a lot of places where you can get all kind of pizzas, this city has some of the friendliest people.

While you are here you can toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain, contemplate the Colosseum and the Pantheon, and then get a sample of a perfect espresso or gelato.

Next stop, Florence, another beautiful city located in the beautiful Italy. Famous for its history, Florence is also a great place where you can find a lot of art.

At the Galleria dell’Accademia are works of Michelangelo, who is entombed within the walls of the Basilica di Santa Croce.

Rimini is located on the Adriatic Sea, on the coast between two ancient rivers. It is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Europe, because of its 15-kilometre-long sandy beach.

There you can find over 1,000 hotels, and thousands of bars, restaurants and discos, this city is also known for having a lot of museums.

While you are there make sure you try Rimini’s cuisine which is simple and characterized by intense flavours.

It also has a castle, Castel Sismondo or Rocca Malatestiana that was built by Sigismondo Pandolfo and was later used as a prison.

N5. Sorrento

Famous for its sea cliffs, the town has a lot of alluring names such as Land of Mermaids or Land of Orange and Lemon Groves.

The city is a popular tourist attraction and it can be reached easily from Naples and Pompeii as it is at the south-eastern end of the Circumvesuviana rail line.

Its sea cliffs and luxury hotels are magnets for celebrities like Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti who came here to stay.

Have you heard of that alcoholic drink called Limoncello? Well it is produced in Sorrento.

No6. Selva di val Gardena

Located about 30 kilometers east of the city of Bolzano, the city got its name from Latin silva which means wood.

It is perhaps best known as one of the starting points of the Sella Ronda ski tour.

Local craftsmen pore over intricate wood carvings that have come to epitomize the artistry of Selva di Val Gardena.

And as you assumed, winter sports are the purest art form here, with perfect powder for skiers and snowboarders to plow through.

No7. Positano

This city used to be a vital part of a mighty sea power, and today is a sophisticated resort located on the central Amalfi Coast.

Positano is a village and comune on the Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana), in Campania, Italy, mainly in an enclave in the hills leading down to the coast.

While you are there, make sure you visit the beach; the church of Santa Maria Assunta features a dome made of majolica tiles as well as a thirteenth-century Byzantine icon of a black Madonna.

Today tourism is by far the major industry. Positano is also very popular for Limoncello and “L’Albertissimo”, an alcoholic tipple that can only be found at a small stall at the main harbour.

No8.Taormina

Have you heard of volcanic Mount Etna and Ionian Sea? Well, you can find both of those landmarks on Taormina.

The small town on the east coast of the island of Sicily, midway between Messina and Catalina, has been a tourist destination since the 19thcentury.

It has beaches that are accessible via an aerial tramway on the Ionian sea and via highways from Messina, so make sure you visit them as well.

No9. Naples

The next destination in Italy is a romantic one. Naples is located two hours south of Rome. It is the largest city in southern Italy.

There are also located the world’s best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments.

Or go check finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

No10. Milan

As one of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan offers endless opportunities for the most enthusiast travelers.

When you are not spending your money on shopping at the world’s most famous stores, you can go and check the iconic Duomo of Milan.

Then grab tickets to a performance at La Scala. Post-opera, the Navigli district pulses with late-night activity.
