There is plenty to catch up on since our latest update. Let’s get straight into it.
The Protocol V2 allowed data buyers to reduce the amount of gas that he has to spend on the fee transactions. This attracted more companies which contacted us with the need of having an easier solution to buy data directly from users.
That’s why we are creating a Buyer SaaS (Software as a Service), a platform that will allow companies to become a data buyer and send personalized offers to targeted users.
Here is a preview of how the Buyer SaaS will look:
We have also been working on new strategic partnerships to expand and improve the ecosystem. We announced a partnership with Prêmery, a cryptoeconomics financial advisory and consulting company created with the purpose of contributing to the education, introduction, and adoption of Blockchain and Smart Contracts technology within society.
In the following weeks, we will be announcing a new partnership with an investment marketplace that allows people to invest in a wide variety of projects through crowdfunding. Stay tuned!
We participated on several blockchain-related events. We presented at Cryptomondays, ETH Buenos Aires, Austral University and Crypto Rooftop, Mendoza. We felt an enthusiastic energy from the audience and had a productive conversation about data privacy issues.
As we saw that our community has great ideas about how to build the marketplace, we decided to run an API competition. The competition will be open to participants across the globe through a software called Gleam. We want to give users the opportunity to propose the best APIs to integrate with the Wibson marketplace and win amazing prizes such as the HTC Exodus 1, the BITHD Watch 2, a cryptobox from our Prêmery partner, Steam credit and other Wibson branded items.
APIs chosen will be new connectors on the Wibson marketplace so users will have more data sources to use to sell their information, companies will have more variety of data sets to buy and be able to detect more valuable insights on the data they get.
