A MEETING WITH MYSELF
Sounds vague, doesn’t it? But so Intriguing, here we GO😎
Legend has it that we are too strange till it eats on our own plate, strangers to our own-selves. Like, We don’t look Familiar!
One bright Morning, a day of joy, a day to win, and that one day to earn the best of me… got to roll soon after having got struck with thunder’s bolt thoughts locally ascribed to as Shower Thoughts… the tantalizing theme being, Where and When so ever Will you Attend a Meeting with Just YOU and your Own-Self??? hey, this froze me… awe-stricken!
Below is a clip for the song by the name The Nights as recorded by Avicii. I would want to share an extract from the song that is so poising and triggering the quest for Who We truly ARE. Sticking only just to the first Stanza , here we are:

When all our shadows disappeared

Made memories we knew would never fade
And I kept pondering and cerebrating this to myself on the line The Animals Inside Came Out To Play. During the meeting with myself I had only one question shot to the other Me; Buddy, If we had animals tamed in us, What sort of animals could ever come out to play? Would they be tigers? sheep? elephants? ants? termites? cattle? octopus? birds?… a list but without an end.
The aforementioned took me deep yet inside a narrow corridor of lingering thoughts as to what would the animals signify? Hate? Love? Jones? Jealousy? Covetousness? Dominance? Submissiveness? Adorable? Cowardice?…an uncountable listing of accolades and hailed/condemned personal attributes.
Peter Mkwawa, the doctor of Symbology had this to account on this agenda and generally I liked the way he folded it all in just a phrase, “Grow through, what you Go Through only until others will have to Go Through you” [ to attain your great height of achievement, in short he really meant to be a living legacy of your own. ] My own elucidation from the above {song and Peter} is that they both profess on living a life that is exemplary, imitable and an archetypal rich in morality and humility able to lend Kindness and ignite as many individuals as there could never be found any [kindness contagion]
Tendency has had it that we shortly never stood a chance to start with the person in the mirror. Many of us [men] never stand long before a mirror/looking glass, and in cases we do, we hasten and dash in a blink of a firefly. We need to look the Beast in the EYE so that the Past wouldn’t hold us hostage anymore. With this regard, from the law of Cause and Effect, we must be ready to Scratch that which we Can Itch and consequently Itch that our hands can Scratch. Very Round 😀
Little did we know that the person in the mirror longs for an encounter, chiefly with it’s own real-image [the rushy Us/You]. Nonetheless, when the two sides [real and mirror-image] collide,it is such a formidable rendezvous by which on that occasion the magic comes into being just when they converse; for you see in the end it will be a clash that will help to distill between the real YOU and the IMPOSTOR.
Life is correspondent to Sequoia trees with branches encroaching all over the whole planet, so BIG! However way, the Universe is so Big/Large that It keeps dropping many things around us, It’s our task to GO pick Them. No delays, get up and snatch your lot… 🤲
Despite circumstances, life encompasses a constant process of struggle and self-awareness where-in every triumph sharpens the sting of later defeats even so there ought to be no retreats, only advances. With the cliché Forward Ever but Backward Never, taking-on a catchphrase from the Master Che, “¡Hasta la victoria siempre!” [ “Until victory, always!” ].
Nevertheless, ceaseless &undying urge to trying and trying things out has to be accustomed to as the lifestyle as in any case failure cuts in then you might have rather failed forward and better-off than when you hadn’t given a try. No ways, TRY OUT!
You can say all, but all in all credit and entire praise belong and must be sent back to Him who is the MASTER-PLANNER, whose Hands are not so short that He cannot reach out, the Ever Forgiving God. FAITH Moves Mountains and it’s the light that guides and torches us through the darkness. In God We TRUST.
And soon after my glass-full of water dried out, the other of me in the meeting declared that the meeting is adjourned till another time fate and chance would convene to stage such an exquisite and indelible rendezvous epitomizing a journey to discover the beauty buried/dormant deep-down within us. [MIRRORING=>1st step to self-discovery ]
Reminding ourselves of our own self-image is significant as this shelters and nurtures self-esteem which comes in a blend with the second greatest of all, Self-Confidence [the First Best being SELF_AWARENESS ]
A tenderhearted way to sign off this commentary is reiterating the song, [ by Avicii ] where his Father intensifies that “Son, don’t let it slip away” [life]
what’s more is “One day you’ll leave this world behind, So live a life you will remember.” . Thus, “These are the nights that never die”
Ultimately, Father bids us farewell with a note “Go venture far beyond the shores, Don’t forsake this life of yours. I’ll guide you home no matter where you are”
this song can connote God’s Words to His People, We’ve got One and Only One Chance to Live, Don’t let it slip away, YOLO!
Tame you Animals Inside so that when They are Let out to Play, It is an Entertainment than a Blitz [ Chivalry and not Rivalry ]. Peace to You 💞
