$WIFI is coming to the TrustSwap Launchpad tomorrow

$WIFI is almost here! We’re super excited that our native utility token is coming to the TrustSwap Launchpad at 17:00 UTC on Thursday 30 March.

To make sure you’re prepared, we’re going to point you to all the resources you’ll need in order to participate.

We recommend starting with the fantastic blog post on the TrustSwap website, which covers the basics of WiFi Map and the $WIFI token, with a focus on our tokenomics. It outlines everything you’ll need to do to participate in the launch — don’t worry, we’ll point you to some of the key steps here.

The TrustSwap team have also put together an amazing seven-minute YouTube video explaining how to participate in launches on the TrustSwap Launchpad. The basic premise is simple: by staking the TrustSwap SWAP token, you’ll increase the amount of $WIFI you can claim. The launch is open to anyone with a Staking Score of at least 4,000 — we recommend checking out this blog post about TrustSwap’s Staking Scores and the Long-Term Staking Pool (LTSP) if you want to learn more.

You might notice early on in the video that TrustSwap recommends installing MetaMask. If you don’t have a MetaMask wallet, you can check out the handy guide on our HelpDesk.

Applications will open at 17:00 UTC on Thursday 30 March (that’s tomorrow) over on the TrustSwap Launchpad. Please note that applications will be open for a total of 24 hours. Before you apply, you’ll need to pass TrustSwap’s KYC (know your customer) verification with our partners at Sekuritance.

The TrustSwap Launchpad will have a hard cap of $500,000 in $WIFI. With a public sale listing price of $0.025 per token, that equates to 20 million $WIFI tokens up for grabs. With a total cap of 1,000,000,000 $WIFI, this means that the launch will host 2% of all the $WIFI that will ever exist and. If the private sale is anything to go by, it’s going to be a popular one.
