A letter from our staff

WGC is a community space, designed to be a place where people can come together. But we understand that during the COVID-19 epidemic, bringing together large groups of people may raise new concerns.

Our goal is to always provide a safe space, so we are taking heightened precautions to protect our volunteers, our artists, and our community. We’ve enhanced our sanitation practices, providing a deep-cleaning every day and after each event. And during our events, we will regularly sanitize commonly-touched areas, such as doors, countertops, and the bathroom.

Governor, Mike DeWine issued an order prohibiting gatherings of 100 or more people. WGC’s max capacity is 99 people, so we are still allowing events to take place in our space.

We host over 12 of our own recurring programs each month, and we also rent the space to Columbus creatives who are sharing their unique visions. We hope you will continue to attend these events at Wild Goose Creative with confidence that we are taking precautions to keep you safe. Please check our website calendar to stay up-to-date on any cancellations.

If you’re feeling sick, please stay home to help protect other WGC guests. And if you don’t feel comfortable attending events right now, please consider supporting us by becoming a member for as little as $5 per month.

Please let us know if you have any questions, and we will continue to keep you updated.

Lydia Simon, Interim Executive Director
