In 2021, my passions for birds and bird photography continued to grow. This first article of a series about birds photographed during the year includes specimens seen in Minnesota during the first quarter. In upcoming articles, I plan to share images of birds from South Dakota, North Dakota, California, Utah, and Arizona, as well as Minnesota.
