Cosmic Consciouss
Ridding Stress & Veering Toward Natural Law
The man of cosmic consciousness… feels by true intuitive power the ever-bubbling Bliss that dances in every particle of his little body, and in his big Cosmic Body of the universe, and in his absolute nature as one with the Eternal Spirit beyond manifested forms.
– Paramahansa Yogananda
Dr. Carr (2025) defines stress as an imprint on the physiology due to the pressure of an experience had. In higher states of consciousness, the impact of stress is lessened, meaning the imprint fades quicker than it would in lower states of consciousness (Carr, 2025). Since a junction point is any major event in life, full of stress or not, it can be noted that the stressful junction points leave lasting impressions. That is why it’s crucial to transcend toward higher states of consciousness, caring for the junction points not just in life but in the body as well. What the mind experiences, so too does the body. The more stress accumulates, the more the physiology needs healing, too. This knowledge reminds me of Jyotish and yagyas recommended that better prepare one for what’s to come, rather than changing what’s to come. The same can be said of stress: a healthier lifestyle that stretches a person toward enlightenment will discard stress much more quickly. This will impact my practice because I can relay this information to clients that have severe stress in life. I will help guide them to heal mentally and physically, lessening stress imprints with recommendations like meditation, yoga, vegetarianism and so on.
Vaidya Manohar Pakurthi (2025) expresses the importance of treating the root cause after first reading the pulse and then analyzing why imbalance is there. The goal for all clients to reach happiness and optimal health can be attributed to half of the treatment being to avoid the causative factors (Pakurthi, 2025). This knowledge is so important for life and healthcare in general because finding and treating the root cause will prevent the mistake of the intellect from desiring the causative factors, therefore restoring the body and mind to full health. In today’s world, people want easy and quick fixes, which inevitably causes an array of other problems, on top of their existing problems. The beauty of treating the root and preventing causative factors is to see the whole again, giving a person full life, health and happiness. The goal in Ayurveda is prevention first and foremost, so why not prevent and treat all in one.
When one transcends and then maintains this state, it is called Cosmic Consciousness (CC). In CC, the mind and body are fully expanding, ridding stress in the physiology while opening to the unified field (Pearson, 2016). Here in the fifth state of consciousness, one will also start to live in accordance with Nature, desiring only what nourishes and fulfills, without force, without strain (Pearson, 2016). So it is in CC where stress leaves less of an imprint, if it leaves any at all. The body and mind then work magically together to veer away from the undue experience had. Here in CC also, a person will naturally avoid what might cause imbalance; instead, one will gravitate towards health and happiness. This higher state of consciousness allows for an incredible opening of mind and body health. The inner intelligence will rise above, conquering fear and imbalance and ill-health and decay. There will be no stress. The root will be nourished.
