What is an IDO?
An initial DEX offering or IDO refers to the launching of a cryptocurrency on a decentralized exchange (DEX). In an IDO, a blockchain project makes a coin’s first public debut on a DEX in order to raise funding from retail investors.
The problem with Tezos we’re aiming to solve
Right now we are seeing Defi projects launching on Tezos that are facing a pull in liquidity “rug pull” and we are looking to bring safe launches to the Tezos space to give investors a trusted place to invest their capital. Tezos is a chain know for its self-amendment and on-chain governance, It’s not only that it does have good TPS and less gas cost, having a hedge over other chains like ethereum.
Right now there is no platform in Tezos to incentivize projects with an opportunity to raise funds in a Decentralised manner.
Another genuine problem with how presales work in crypto is that influencers, VCs, and well-connected people receive an allocation for private/presales. This often makes normal users miss out on early investments. Wiltpad will give holders and stakers exceptional priority on sales by using “ Pool weight Scoring ” allowing Retail investors to take part.
