Jason Njoku and Tayo Ovisu medium posts made me so excited for Nigerian tech. IrokoTV, for instance, is already making plans to sidestep NCC and their data wahala while Paga’s Tayo won me over by explaining why, in 6 ways, the payment system should be preferred over the regular online banking.

My favorite person is on Medium, and it would be so unfair not to share her first post — how being in a country similar to her upbringing in Nigeria made her appreciate her “Nigerianness” — which I relate to. It is a very nasty habit I have, and I am working on changing that.

There’s Singapore.

Then there’s Nigeria.

Why do we seem so adverse to progress? What is that thing that seems to be holding us back? While other governments are devising means and seeking for more avenues to make life easier for its citizens, ours is being annoyingly rigid, incompetent and outright contumacious.

I recently followed this publication — about travel stories — and this article got my attention. Commuting to and from work from mainland to island is a challenge that will last for a while, unfortunately..

During NYSC, when I thought that I did not want to be an Accountant no more, digital marketing was what I thought was for me. I wrote about it (first post on my blog), got it published, and heck, I even talked about it on TV (NTA Ibadan). An interview later in November last year, everything backfired. It is way more deeper that gathering followers and being witty on social media, as Justin puts us through here.

Till next week.
