Announcement: The Winchain Node Pre-Election Plan

Winchain is committed to develop the national blockchain based lottery system, its unique dual-chain system where the main chain is responsible for the node election, and the side chain is responsible for the actual business operations, ensures the decentralization of the entire ecosystem, improves the circulation and reduces the costs.

In March 2019, Winchain upgraded its main network, further improved the stability and laid our a solid foundation for the global lottery releases. On April 12, Winchain released the world’s first blockchain based lottery in Kampala, Uganda. This announcement marks the official launch of the blockchain based lottery system running on Winchain. In near future, Winchain will connect to more countries and it is expected that more African countries’ national lotteries will go live on Winchain in 2020.

In order to ensure the global lottery data is open, transparent and tamper proof, Winchain decided to divide the node election into a 3-stages plan including: “Set sail”, “Building Dreams” and “Go sail”.

Set Sail

The start-up phase of the node election will be conducted from September 20 to October 31 2019. The plan aims to pre-elect nodes, recruit node candidates, build the basis of Winchain node consensus, including testing the whole process and laying a solid foundation for next steps.

Building Dreams

The optimization stage of the node election is tentatively scheduled for Q4 2020. The plan is to audit the assets, technology and operations of the node candidates, electing high-quality nodes and jointly build the Winchain consensus, improve the stability of the main network and the consensus mechanism.

Go Sail

The consolidation stage of the node election is tentatively scheduled for Q4 2021. The goal is to further enhance the stability of the main network, elect “semi-eternal nodes” or “eternal nodes” to create a better node consensus.
