Gluten-Free Vegan Triple Threat

Food Week

Bob’s Gourmet Burgers nearly folded after twenty years serving quality meals 24-hours-daily to celebrities, politicians, spoiled teens, overweight sports stars long past their prime, and stoners looking to fuel their munchies at three in the morning. Alas, prestige doesn’t turn a profit, and the cost of his burgers was rapidly catching up with the premium prices he charged.

Not to mention the need to keep up with the trend toward healthy eating — almond milk shakes, vegan buns, veggie burgers with even costlier ingredients but with no way to push up the price points to compensate. Twenty dollars for a burger just to break even was too much to ask, even in Vegas.

Prestige doesn’t turn a profit, and the cost of Bob’s burgers was rapidly catching up with the premium prices he charged.

In a last ditch effort to save his business Bob introduced the Gluten-Free Vegan triple meat and triple bacon triple tofu burger for only five dollars (sides and drinks extra at the regular inflated prices). Popeyes couldn’t move their sandwiches as rapidly as Bob moved his burgers. The GFVTripleThreat became the favorite meal of surfers, stoners, cops, streetwalkers, social climbers and society snobs.

Best of all, his profit margins soared with his sales. He had finally found the winning formula — corn meal and turkey strips with red dye no. 7.
