THE FIRST EXTRATERRESTRIAL SHIPS arrived at the dark side of the moon and parked in its orbit. They sat in silence. Some people believed they wanted to observe how humans would react, others believed they were preparing for war. To earth’s military leaders, there was no debate. Earth should prepare for invasion and war.

Scientists weren’t so quick to push the trigger. Dr. Vargas, head of the World Scientific Council, declared. “I believe the aliens came in peace.” The Guardian and MSNBC interviewed scientists at every opportunity; FOX and GB News paraded military experts.

On Christmas morning, the aliens broke their silence. “We are the Kr1ll. We come in peace and request asylum.”

Despite the military’s dire predictions, the aliens were peaceful and patriotic. Allowed to settle in the uninhabited arctic wastes, they not only contributed to the world’s economy, but they reversed climate change.

Even the generals admitted they were wrong about any threat to the planet. Until the aliens the settlers were fleeing arrived demanding the refugees return, after which they’d unleash weapons of mass destruction as a lesson to any planet that sympathized with the rebels.
