• Chloe: Type-A, tightly wound, on the verge of a breakdown.
• Izzy: Chloe’s best friend, perpetually chilled, possibly stoned.

Setting: A luxurious balcony overlooking a pristine beach. Two lounge chairs sit facing the ocean, with the sound of waves crashing.

Chloe bursts out onto the balcony, a phone clutched in hand. She is frantic. “I can’t believe Cyndi got the corner room again! With swim-up bar access! It’s like she’s mocking me from her balcony hammock of smugness!”

Izzy, calmly sunbathing and wearing oversized sunglasses, mumbles. “Uh-huh. Sounds rough.”
