The end of the 2017–18 season is fast approaching as this is the last home game of the season with an intense rivalry between the Blackhawks and the Blues. The Hawks will also honor Blackhawks legend and Ambassador Stan Mikita with the “One More Shift” his grandsons will take his place tonight during the pregame ceremony at the United Center.

Also, it could be Patrick Sharp’s last NHL game tonight at the United Center, after signing a one year deal last summer to come back to Chicago.

As of right now, the lineup for tonight’s matchup remains the same, but a couple changes again, it has been reported that Tomas Jurco will not play tonight due to an illness. Jonathan Toews will still not play tonight due to an upper body injury he suffered against the Colorado Avalanche a couple weeks ago. Also, the Hawks will have seven defensemen tonight. J-F Berbue will be the starting goaltender for the Hawks tonight.

With the Blues, it remains the same with their lineup, but former Blackhawk goaltender Carter Hutton will be in net for the Blues tonight.

What to look for with the Blackhawks will be Duncan Keith who scored his second goal of the season on the power play with 8.4 seconds left at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Wednesday night, Dylan Sikura who racked up three points, and Blake Hillman who got his first NHL goal in his second NHL game. With the Blues, Vladmir Tarasenko has sixteen goals in twenty-two games, and Alex Pietrangelo has nine points in his last nine games.

Puck drop at the United Center is 7:30 PM Central, and the pregame show on NBC Sports Chicago is at 7 PM Central.
