Since there are so many wonderful Pre Christmas gatherings and with all holiday celebrations, it may be a great idea to try new drink recipes.
For wine lovers, here I’m sharing the top 6 wine recipes I recommend for these holidays. They are great alternatives to coffees, ciders and teas.
- Hot Spiced Wine: a delicious spiced hot drink made with cinnamon, cardamom and black pepper. Great for a cold evening or as a digestif after having your nice holiday meal.
- Mulled Wine: a traditional drink in many countries. It is also called “Glögg” in Nordic nations and “Glühwein” in Germany. It’s a warm and spiced wine, ideal for a snowy night.
- Hot Spiced Drunken Apple Cider: the perfect blend of apple juice and white wine (Gewürztraminer) with vanilla, nutmeg and honey. Hot, delicious and drunkenly original!
- Rosé Sangria with Cranberries and Apples: a fruity sangria with a little bit more holiday spices, including cinnamon, anise and cloves added to rosé wine. A Spanish exquisite drink.
- Port Wine Eggnog: this is a great and easy recipe for eggnog fans. It’s a blend of port, milk, eggs and nutmeg. Definitely something to try!
- Mimosa: a well-known drink, which is great for any celebration at any time of the day. An elegant mix of sparkling wine, orange juice and Grand Marnier. It’s a “must taste”!
- Cranberry and Blueberry Champagne: to your glass of Champagne or Sparkling wine, add some cold cranberries and blueberries. You’ll get a festive, easy and delicious drink.
