Wing 5.0 — Routines: What You Need to Know

As we start the new year, we want to help you seize every opportunity. That’s why we are excited to announce our latest feature for all our customers: Routines.

With Routines, you can now assign a series of tasks for your assistant to complete when they don’t have any other active tasks.

You can easily access Routines from the menu on the left side of your dashboard. Just follow the link to a screen like the one shown below.

With the new Routines feature, you can assign any essential passive tasks to be completed on a recurring basis whenever your assistant has free time. These tasks can be anything you want your assistant to do in the background without requiring your participation.

To use Routines, simply visit the Routines page and specify the parameters for the routine you want to assign. With Routines, you can streamline your work and save time by delegating recurring tasks to your assistant.

Click on “Create Routine” — it will take you to a window labeled “Add New Routine.”

On the Routines page, you can customize the name and description of the routine you are delegating, specify whether it is a must-do task, choose the frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), and set the priority level.

For example, in the illustration below, the routine involves recording meeting minutes. In addition to the routine’s name, you can see a description outlining the steps required to complete the routine.

With these customization options, you can easily set up and manage Routines to streamline your work and increase efficiency.

You can also provide your assistant with additional context by sending documents such as images or files along with the routine you are delegating.

In addition to creating your own routines, you can also browse and customize a selection of premade templates that cover various tasks such as organizing email inboxes, following up on converted leads, managing leads from social media, and more. These templates provide a convenient starting point and can be easily customized to fit your specific needs.

Once you have set up a Routine, your assistant can keep you informed of any updates or issues that arise by commenting directly on the Routine.

You can continue the conversation with your virtual assistant by replying to their comments, which are stored as a thread within the Routine for easy reference. This allows you to stay informed and easily collaborate with your assistant on recurring tasks.
