Out of the blue

It comes... Smiting

As it goes about

Its business

Bursting

And pouring calamities

All hell breaks lose

A changing climate

Precipitation

An overload… A trigger

New ones, and old

Come tumbling down

Rainstorms…

Aggressions on a time limit

Damaging, catastrophic

Unpredictable, unpreventable

Brief sudden downpour

Of wrath

Killing the spirits

A cloudburst!

Accompanied by hail

And thunder

A period of heavy rainfall

Right (or wrong) ingredients

Coming together

Manifesting

In intense rage

Hovering dark clouds

Inevitably follows

Emerging as

Cold spell and drought

A state of trance

A windchill.. freezing cold

A chilly frost…

Foggy gray skies

Where previously acceptable

Suddenly turns pitch black

And, Life

As we know it

Ceases to exist
