Wing 2021 September Recap
To celebrate the first anniversary of Wing Finance’s launch, we hosted a series of Wing celebratory events! The celebration events have attracted both old and new users to participate. The number of Twitter followers and the number of Wing DAO community members reached record highs. At the same time, the Wing release rate was adjusted according to the white paper and the WIP-08 voting results, from 0.036 WING per second to 0.03 WING. The functions and UI of Wing.Finance continue to improve; a new Analytics page was added, showing important platform data to users.

- 2021/9/12, according to the Wing Finance white paper and WIP-08, the distribution rate of WING has been adjusted at 0:00 (UTC) on September 12, 2021, which is the first anniversary of Wing’s launch, from 0.036/sec. to 0.03/sec;
- 2021/9/15, added the Analytics page, adjusted the liquidation incentive ratio of each asset in Wing Flash Pools, and updated the Partners section on the homepage.
3. Community Activities
(1) Wing’s first birthday celebration series is in full swing. Among them, the first Social Media Celebration event has been successfully concluded. The event received great support from users and attracted a large number of users to participate. The number of new followers on Twitter and the number of Wing DAO Telegram community members have increased sharply. n the end,I a total of 30 users won 1 WING each.
The Wing Flash Pool campaign is ongoing. During the birthday month, there are four rounds of lucky draws every seven days from 9/13 8:00–10/11 8:00 (UTC). Users who have followed the rules will have chances to win one of the three rewards, including Participation Prize, Lucky Prize and Special Prize. The first and second rounds have ended and rewards have been distributed. All participants for Round 1 and 2 won a prize and the highest reward for a single address was 50 WING.
(2) pWING liquidity mining activity rewards will continue to be available for another 3 months. During the period from September to December, a total of 12,000 pWING will be distributed to users who provide pWING-ETH and pWING-pONT liquidity on SushiSwap and deposit SLP tokens in Stake SLP. Each trading pair will be issued 2,000 pWING liquidity mining rewards every month;

(3) Airdrop activities for Wing PolkaPets NFT holders will continue after July. Users who hold the NFT and participate in the “Supply, Borrow and Insure” on Wing Flash Pool (Ethereum) and reach an average daily sum of borrowing and insuring of more than $500 can receive pWING airdrop rewards. The event has received strong support from users and attracted a large number of users to participate in Wing Flash Pool (Ethereum).

5. Monthly Buyback
Wing’s monthly buyback for September, 2021, is ongoing.
This month, 50% of Wing DAO’s revenue was used to buy back WING. We will update the community once the buyback has concluded.
6. Ecosystem Collaboration
Wing Finance cooperated with ONTO Wallet to hold the first anniversary celebration of Wing. Users who use Wing Flash Pool through ONTO Wallet can get additional rewards.

7. Wing DAO Marketing Fund
According to the results of WIP-12, 35,000 WING tokens from the adjustments in WING’s distribution rate can be used for marketing initiatives. In addition, according to the results of WIP-39, 50k WING from the Community Fund can be allocated to marketing initiatives.

8. Forecast
- Wing’s 1st birthday month events are continuing, and the third and fourth rounds of the Flash Pool Campaign will continue;
- Wing Flash Pool (Ethereum) will soon launch the six new digital asset lending functions for LINK, UNI, BAL, SNX, SUSD and xSUSHI.
- Wing PolkaPets NFT activities, pWING liquidity mining activities, and KSwap liquidity mining activities continue.
