At WINGiT, we were wondering what were the London’s event hotspots, based on what locals are talking about most on social media. Indeed, as the app discovers the most buzzing events in the city by analysing social media conversations from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Meetup — we have created a London map showcasing which central boroughs have the most talked about nightlife, theatre, comedy, galleries, pubs, live sports and more.
The larger the coloured hotspot, the more talked about the corresponding type of event is on social media. Westminster is top for nightlife, while Camden has the most talked about galleries and museums alongside a strong live music rating. Lambeth comes top of the list for pubs and live sports, while theatre-goers would be best off heading to Kensington and Chelsea. Hackney, meanwhile, has a buzzing live music and pubs scene.
