A cool new feature that chooses an event at random from the day.

Until now, the app has been all about finding a cool event happening now nearby or in the city. Take a look at the timeline, see what’s going on and get out! It’s as easy as it gets.
So with the team we decided to shake things up a little and to experience things and to live the moment differently. What if we could encourage our users to go to new kinds of events that they wouldn’t normally go to? This is how, during a what-would-we-do-brainstorming-session, one of us said:
“it would be cool to just press a button that it would choose an event at random.”
And that was the new feature right there. All we had to do was, well, develop it :) This is how a few weeks later, here it is: the WINGiT Roulette.
The idea: Let the Roulette choose an event at random from the day and then go there with buddies. Just swipe to the right from the Timeline, launch Roulette, discover the event, share it via Whatsapp, Facebook, etc.
The Challenge — because it’s always better when it’s a little bit challenging — is launching a funny game to our users, offering them a new way of going out: spinning WINGiT Roulette and daring their friends to go to random events, however unusual they may be.
