Promoting My Book 5 Years Later
I have a diabetes history on both parental sides. So I’ve always done my best to eat sweets in moderation. But once I hit 35, it seemed like I gained weight just by looking at food! I dieted, I worked out, to no avail. That’s when I discovered insulin resistance.
1 in 3 adults is insulin resistant, though most don’t know it. I studied insulin resistance extensively and learned the steps I needed to take to reverse it before it became diabetes. The bonus? Weight loss comes naturally!
I wrote a book (under the pen name Reagan Prescott) with all of the research I did, plus my personal experiences. I post on social media about insulin resistance as well. Recently I received a few questions on the subject. After answering the questions, I referred those individuals to my book. It was then that I decided I needed to put effort into marketing that book.
I’ve never done a ton of marketing for my books. I write them, I send them out into the world and let them fly. But receiving those questions let me know that my insulin resistance book contains important information that could really impact the health and wellbeing of people out there!
These days I am actively promoting my book on social media. I’m careful not to be too salesy; the majority of my posts are memes and motivational quotes. But when I post something related to insulin resistance, I make sure to mention I wrote a book on the subject.
If you are over 35 and have tried everything to lose weight, I invite you to read my book! It’s free on Kindle Unlimited! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HFO2M04
