The Ultimate Business Strategy: Culture
Company culture turns out to be the ultimate business strategy based on two of the most prominent business news so far this year. It revolves around the story of those once mighty internet companies namely Yahoo and Uber. If Yahoo and Uber’s challenges are rooted from their choice of company culture or as it may appear, a lack there of, we shouldn’t be surprised that their competitors also attribute success to the same business aspect.
It used to be a new cool term associated to forward-thinking organisations. And then it quickly became a fad that turned into an effective justification to a company’s choice of values, habits and overall organisational identity. However, recent business events are changing the way “company culture” is perceived — it’s now becoming less of a fad and more of a real business aspect that affects both the success and failure of an organisation.
