Learn how Wire updates work.

New:

  • We added Dutch, Greek and Polish translations.
  • You can choose whether text emoticons are replaced with emoji.
  • We added an option to disable sending link previews on Windows, macOS and Linux. Link previews aren’t generated when sending links from app.wire.com.

Improved:

  • We tweaked the style of the conversation list.
  • No more notifications when someone leaves a conversation.

Fixed:

  • Logging in on multiple tabs simultaneously caused decryption errors. Wire warns if you’re logged in on another tab.
  • Private mode on Firefox and Edge is not supported. We added a proper error page.
  • Some users saw duplicate messages when starting the app. This is fixed.
  • Registering from an invitation connects you to the person who invited you.
