Happiness is only possible when we are able to accept everyone as they are. That means an end to judging or resisting others, an end to complaining and blaming, and end to criticizing and controlling and an end to competing with anyone. Choose thoughts and feelings aligned with our true state of purity, peace and love that we shift from: asking to share, holding on to letting go, expectations to acceptance, past and future to being in the now. We create a life of joy, contentment and bliss because we have the choice and the power. Happiness is a decision.

Spirituality is about being who we truly are.

Meditation is being aware of waht i am thinking and to choose waht i am going to be thinking.

Choosing Happiness

“If happiness is something that I like, if it’s something that I desire, and if comes naturally to me, then it won’t be dependent on anything else outside.”

“Faced with failure, someone could go into depression, and yet another one would say ‘okay, i’m doing it again’ and be successful the next time.”

“Hypertension — we accept stress as part of our lives. The more I worry, the weaker my mind becomes. It’s not about what happened, it’s about what I need to do now. I need to take care of myself first to be able to get the solution. It’s about priorities in life. What are my responsibilities? My physical and emotional health, my family, my home, my friends, my job, my society, my relationships, my countries. Happiness is internal strength.”

“My responsibility should be to first take charge of my mind. Four aspects of an individual’s life need to be in balance: Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual. The goal should be to become emotionally strong, physically fit, intellectually stimulated and spiritually awake.”

“How to change thoughts: Just be aware of what I’m thinking. I am the creator of the thought. The minute I understand I am the creator of the thought, then the blame game is over.”

“4 Types of thoughts: 1. Pure, powerful, positive thoughts, clean and selfless. 2. Negative thoughts — resentment, hatred, criticism, anger. 3. Necessary thoughts — I have to do this, I have to go here 4. Waster thoughts — thinking about that which is not in my control. What is important is now.”

“Information is the food for the mind. If I have eaten the right foo, I am going to be healthy; if I have not been eating the right food for the mind, my emotional immunity system is going to suffer. Quality of my thoughts determines the quality of my life. protect Yourself — do not feed yourself with so much toxic food in the morning.”

Choosing Awareness:

I cannot make other people happy by doing anything for them. If I choose to do something for them, I have to be sure that I am happy first while doing it — otherwise, I shouldn’t be doing it. Create the right thought and the right energy first before you do something, otherwise, it is best to leave it.

Lessons learned in this book:

  • Currently, I’m learning how to think! To improve my perspective on life.
  • I’m learning to take responsibility for my life because it’s much easier to sit in the victim chair. First, we need to take care of ourselves and take self-responsibility
  • Affirmation of gratitude and appreciation for this life journey and experience.
  • Affirmation: Pay attention to how I feel when doing something. Be calm, peaceful, happy and then do it. I am emotionally happy, then whatever I do with be beautiful. There should be harmony between words and thoughts.
  • Keep searching for peace, for that purpose of life. It’s out there.
  • Relax and Reflect.
