Afghanistan, a country located in the south-central Asian region. It is a landlocked and multiethnic country. Afghanistan provides a roadway to connect southern and eastern Asia to Europe and the Middle East for trade. Historically, it has been at the heart of major trading routes. One of the key routes such as the fabled Silk Road served the region throughout the centuries also crosses from here.

Over the past several decades, Afghanistan remains the hub of conflict. This conflict leads toward the economical downfall which directly impacts the Afghan economy. In the past years, due to the military and political changes the Afghan people have steadily progressed towards peace and prosperity, and its economy has seen meteoric growth.

The light of peace led towards the economical growth in Afghanistan. Nonetheless, Afghanistan is emerging, once again, as a central hub for trade as the economies of Central and South Asia continue to grow and become increasingly integrated into the global economy. Increased Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and improved domestic production have resulted in robust economic growth. Afghanistan, currently in an economic recovery stage, is in the transition from a centrally planned and heavily regulated economy towards an open and free economy based on the market system.
