WisePass Continues its Meteoric Rise With New Investments

Its been a big year for the Singaporean-based lifestyle subscription startup WisePass. They have launched an ICO, expanded to the Philippines, launched a new app with new services and features, and have received substantial investments from a number of high-profile angels.

The latest to get behind WisePass and join the movement is Shark Tank Vietnam panelist Thái Văn Linh —Founder & CEO of Rita Phil and former Operations & Strategic Director of VinaCapital Venture Capital Fund. Ms. Linh’s recent agreement with WisePass came as the result of the company’s participation in the second season of the Vietnamese version of the global smash hit Shark Tank. The only business show in Vietnam that invites entrepreneurs to pitch their companies to industry sharks in the hopes of getting investments. This seasons’ panel includes experts in a variety of fields of business including finance, tech and infrastructure. Earlier this month, on July 3, 2018 — WisePass also participated in the latest VIISA Investment Day. VIISA (Vietnam Innovative Startup Accelerator) commemorated its one and a half year in action with the graduation of the Acceleration Program Batch #3.

The event also included 6 presentations from the ‘best startups in the accelerator program’ of which WisePass was well-represented. The Investment Day garnered the attention of over 100 investors, corporate partners and mentors who attended the event which was held inside the beautiful Atrium Lounge in Renaissance Hotel located in downtown HCMC.

WisePass’ momentum has been building steadily since its inception but this year in particular has seen tremendous growth in strategic and financial support from industry experts and there are no signs of slowing down.
