We’ve put together a few tips and insights we want to share with you when starting to answer requests, let’s review.

First requests

We recommend you adhere to the following guidelines when answering requests for the best results.

  • Welcome your follower and thank them for their request
  • Address their question, concern, or the information they provided
  • Be authentic and honest with your feedback and advice
  • Invite them to come back next time once they’ve implemented your feedback and be a part of their learning process

*Don’t overthink the production side, it’s okay to be raw and authentic when sending your video…

How to answer

Here’s a short video showing the technical overview of the process, including the different ways you can include a response.

Wisio — Answering requests

Time table

Once a request is sent in, you have 5 days to reply, after which your follower can cancel their request and receive a full refund. Keep in mind that when using your mobile to record an answer the video reply can be up to 3 minutes when using a computer the video can be up to 7 minutes long.

Sharing links

We’ve said this in the past, and I’ll say it again — sharing your page link is the best way to increase your reach as well as the number of requests you get.

Additionally, when receiving a request you will see if it is a public or private one. Public ones are a great opportunity to add just a little extra as a preview will be posted on your Wisio page for others to see. Promote yourself and show other followers the value you pass on with each answer, we know you’ve got this! Furthermore, you can always share public responses on your other social media platforms. Better yet — mention to the person asking the question they too can share your reply on their pages and spread the word about how awesome your advice is.

Return Clients

The number of followers returning with more requests are a direct measure of how well you answered their first Wisio. When answering, it’s crucial to have the mindset that each follower’s request has the potential for a long-term relationship.

Principle guidelines to follow

Some of the most successful Wisio creators have over 30% return clients; they’ve built amazing, long-lasting coaching or mentoring relationships, and a consistent monthly income using the 4 principles outlined below;

  1. The Intro: Treat each new request as a consultation for a series of coaching or mentoring sessions. When responding to each person’s first request, provide them with initial feedback or advice.
  2. The Follow Through: Outline how many sessions you believe they should start with. Then we recommend outlining what exactly you will cover in each upcoming session, and how they can expect to improve. Ask them what their aspirations are, so you can set measurable goals with them.
  3. The Challenge: Provide them with a task or challenge to complete in each session, then invite them to return and show their progress. You can define a specific timeline by which you hope to receive their next request.
  4. The Long Run: Commend them on every subsequent request they send, recognize their efforts and give them feedback on their improvements. Then, give more challenges and suggestions, and encourage them to continue sharing their skill development and enhancement. Show them you’re here for the long run, you want to see them succeed.

The ability to take one request and turn it into a multi-session program makes a huge impact on your audience, as well as on yourself.

We truly believe that if you keep the mentioned above in mind with all of your requests, you’ll see more and more of your followers come back to you.
