Introducing the Refreshed Wit.ai

With our refreshed Wit.ai experience, we’re introducing features that help you get better insights, tooling, and updates that make it easier for you to develop stellar natural language experiences.

Thank you for your feedback during the preview period. We’ve heard from the community and are excited to see you build natural language experiences with Wit.ai.

Better tooling & design: Our advanced ML model makes NLU training more efficient, and the refreshed website offers improved navigation so you can easily manage your apps and find information.

Consistent APIs: Intents, entities, and traits have their dedicated keys in the runtime response. Roles are explicit for added simplicity and transparency. Check out the latest HTTP API Reference. We’re also deprecating API versions from before 20200513 (including Built-in NLP in Messenger Platform and Workplace), so we encourage you to upgrade your code by December 30, 2020.

More Insights (beta): We’re excited to announce app usage insights to help you continue to improve your experiences with data.

Join the Hackathon: Register now and submit your projects Facebook AI Hack for Wit.ai by June 24. Build solutions that connect people and drive greater productivity. Win cash prizes up to $21,000 and Oculus VR headsets.

Looking ahead, stay tuned for new features, early access opportunities, and upcoming hackathons.

To better utilize Facebook infrastructure to ship new features to you, we will be transitioning to Facebook login only by December 30, 2020. If you currently log in using GitHub, you’ll be invited to link your account with Facebook when signing in. Check out the relevant FAQ. As always, we look forward to your feedback.
