Thank you to everyone who made it to our booth this year! Meeting many of you in person, and hearing about your stories and anecdotes was inspiring. Thank you for sharing your challenges and ideas too — Your continuous input is vital in helping us build the best the Wit.ai platform possible.

Here’s a quick recap for those who could not make it in person.

At this year’s F8, we:

  • Launched the GET /language API and also fully integrated language identification in built-in NLP. You can read more about the feature and its benefits in our blog post here.
  • Hosted a classroom session on Wit.ai. This session was a primer on what Wit.ai is, and showcased how you can use the language identification feature to improve your customer experience while also reducing development time. You can watch the session hosted by our software engineer Julien Odent here.

Our community continues to grow and is now over 200K developers! Thank you all for contributing to this amazing journey. Up and onwards as we build the NLP platform that will fuel the current and future language technologies.
