Tip 1: Don’t Start Too Many Things at Once

Quirky tips on writing and life.

Imagine you start cooking multiple recipes simultaneously. Chances are you’d to mix up ingredients and measurements, and none of the dishes would be edible. Wasted effort?

Why do we then start “n” number of things without bothering to finish what we’ve already started?

Example: I decided to finish writing an article in my content calendar and edit at least 2 pieces (out of 30+) written in the past 2 months. I sit down to write; another excellent idea strikes, and I start writing that. Later in the evening I dwell on my regrets and chide myself on unfinished tasks.— Drafts don’t earn you any money, honey!

Takeaway? Stop starting. Start finishing.
