Create Custom Payment Options with the Wix Pay API
Wix offers a number of advanced solutions to help businesses sell their goods and services online. Whether it’s with Wix Stores, Wix Bookings, or by using Wix Payments, it’s easy to find a way to sell through a Wix site.
Corvid by Wix can provide users with additional ways to sell, and allows developers to create custom solutions for products, services, or other items that businesses or individuals may want to sell online. One way for users to create a custom solution is by using the Wix Pay API.
With the Wix Pay API, developers can add a buy button to nearly any item on their site. One possible use case is for selling intangible goods such as a course or digital book that don’t fit into existing use cases. Or, users may want to raise funds for a campaign or other cause via their Wix site.
We created two separate code examples to help users understand how to leverage the Wix Pay API in their Corvid sites to create custom purchasing experiences. In the first example, we showed how users can add buy buttons to buy buttons to buy buttons to buy buttons to items in a database collection.
In the second example, which can be seen below, we showed how to create a buy button for a single, stand alone product. Focusing on one item, as opposed to creating a full store or gallery of items for sale, is a great way to bring extra attention to it.
See the code below:
In addition to these code examples, you can watch a tutorial video on the Wix Pay API to see how you can implement this solution in your site.
